Project Brief
This zine explores the potential of artificially intelligent image generation, trialling its limits and strengths when used to create unique visuals and enhance the design process. This self-initiated project started after attending a fascinating discussion about who owns AI-generated work with Intellectual Property Australia.
The opportunity was to experiment with layout, create custom mockups, and craft text prompts that, when combined, formed something independent or new.

The Outcome
This zine features AI-generated images based on artists like Guillermo del Toro and Hoyte Van Hoytema, exploring artistic influence and ownership in the age of AI. Visuals like the coat hangers and paper cut-outs are included to emphasise how people have a role in arranging and interpreting this type of content. The final work acknowledges the continued importance of human intention and creativity in this new technological landscape.
